How can you give back by giving on Tuesday?
For those looking to give back on Giving Tuesday, the organization has compiled a list of six different ways to donate. The first is to share time by volunteering or mentoring a child at a local library or community program. Another way is to help older people in nursing homes, senior centers and other organizations. Another great way to donate is to give time by cleaning up a local beach or park.
With hunger on the rise, donating to a local food bank or community fridge can also be a great way to give back to your local community. Shopping or cooking for those who are sick is also another way to participate in Giving Tuesday.
