Italian TikTok celebrity Nonna has ripped Australian celebrities and their outfit choices at the Aria Awards – revealing why she doesn’t like the fashions of some of the country’s most fashion-forward stars.
Sydney TikToker Maddie and her Nonna Fina appeared on Channel 7’s The Morning Show on Wednesday to discuss their viral fame with hosts Larry Edmur and Kylie Gillies.
Nonna Fina regularly reviews celebrity outfits on her hugely popular TikTok page, and didn’t hold back when discussing the outrageous ensembles at the recent music awards show.

While it’s usually Maddie who asks her to criticize fashion, Larry and Kylie chimed in on Tuesday by sharing photos from last week’s Arias red carpet in Australia.
When asked her thoughts on Australian rapper Armani’s outfit, she replied, “Oh my god.” You call that fashion?
“I don’t call it fashion, I’m sorry,” she said of the barely there burgundy dress with a head covering.

‘I do not like it. You can see the underpants. No no no, I don’t like it.”
Speaking of Genesis Owusu’s outfit, she praised her fur-lined coat, but didn’t think much about the rest of the ensemble.
‘This one, nice color. I don’t like the blouse or the gloves, I’d give it a six out of 10,’ she added of the black lace top and fur and leather cape.
Nonna Fina also commented on holding Christina Aguilera’s 2021 People’s Choice Award.

Speaking about her grandmother’s rise to power on The Morning Show, Maddie explained that she posted a TikTok video of her grandmother as she missed her during lockdown and woke up to reveal that it had gone viral.
‘I’ve been filming her for years just for my friends because we find her hilarious,” she said.
“On COVID we were obviously locked down, I really missed her and couldn’t see her. So, I was going through all the videos and I thought “what if I post one on TikTok” and I just saw what happened.
“I fell asleep, I woke up and it blew up and I was like, ‘oh my god’, so I started posting more.
‘WWe have always been very close, like I was always there three or four times a week.
‘ I just prank her a lot more now and try to love every moment but she’s just hilarious like the other day I walked in looking at the iPad, doing yoga while she blasts black-eyed peas on her Alexa, just really hilarious content.
